TNT Sports expert Nick Peet predicts Ian Machado Garry will show a different side as he takes on Michael 'Venom' Page in a welterweight showdown at UFC 303. Peet says he expects a more dominant performance from Garry, adding that his 'polarising' persona will see many tune in for the much-anticipated bout. Also, Michael Bisping looks ahead to the clash between Alex Pereira and Jiri Prochazka.

UFC 303: ‘He’s polarising, people tune in’ - Eyes will be on Garry against Page at UFC 303

TNT Sports expert Nick Peet is anticipating Ian Machado Garry to be quick out of the blocks as he takes on Michael 'Venom' Page as part of a bumper card at UFC 303 in Las Vegas.
The unbeaten welterweight (14-0-0) last featured in February with a split-decision victory over Geoff Neal - but Peet is expecting to see a dominant side from Garry after the Irishman spent time training in Brazil.
Peet added how Garry is "ticking off boxes" towards a title fight, with Leon Edwards the current holder of the UFC welterweight title.
"All this time in Brazil, you'd like to think his BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) game has gone through the roof," Peet said.
"I think we're going to see this other version of Ian Garry where he is shooting for take-downs, where he's dominating on the ground, where he is looking to hold Michael 'Venom' Page down, not an easy thing to do. "
"But it's like Ian Garry at the moment, I feel like he's ticking off boxes along the way to build this career towards a title opportunity.
"Obviously, the momentum is with him."
The No. 7 ranked welterweight's talent has never been in doubt, and Peet feels that is recognised by the UFC, with Garry's "polarising" personality making him an incredibly valuable asset for the franchise.
"He's been in the UFC for a while now," Peet said. "Every fight he's had has been on major US pay-per-view or the ABC-style event.
"UFC know how much of a talent he is. Plus, he's polarising, people tune in to see him win, and people tune in to see him get choked the hell out. And that makes money for everybody."
Garry will take on Page - who made his debut at UFC 299 in March with a victory by unanimous decision over Kevin Holland - as part of the card ahead of the main event between Alex Pereira and Jiri Prochazka.

‘This guy walks the walk’ - Bisping lavishes praise on Pereira

'This is what makes you a legend' - Bisping on Pereira v Prochazka

TNT Sports expert Michael Bisping believes light heavyweight champion Pereira is in "the prime of his life" heading into his rematch against Prochazka in the main event at UFC 303.
Pereira claimed the title in their first meeting at UFC 295, scoring a second-round TKO.
In his sole bout since assuming the title, Pereira made light work of Jamahal Hill with a first-round KO at UFC 300 in Las Vegas.
Bisping built up Pereira ahead of his rematch with Prochazka, saying that taking on the fight makes him a "superhero".
"The man is a fighter, it's in the core of his DNA," Bisping said on TNT Sports' UFC 303 Preview Show.
"There's a lot of people out there that talk the talk, this guy walks the walk. This is what legacies are made of. This is what makes you a legend, this is what stacks the bank account with life-changing money.
"He's in the prime of his life, he's flying right now, just knocked out Jamahal Hill.
"'Hey Alex do you want to be a superhero, do you want to make millions of dollars, without a training camp and beat an opponent you've already beaten, who by the way, hasn't been training either? Do you want to come on international fight week and save the day and again make millions of dollars?'
"What I'm saying is, these opportunities are life-changing, and you have to make the most of them because a day will come when they stop being offered to you."
