Good afternoon and welcome to LIVE coverage of the Italian Grand Prix from Monza. Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel starts on pole ahead of team-mate Mark Webber. A 1pm (BST) start for this race.

Sebastian Vettel salutes his team: "Very good boys, very good race. Sorry for the lock up into the first corner, made the first stint a bit tricky."

Finishing order: Vettel, Alonso, Webber, Massa, Hulkenberg and Rosberg. Hamilton finishes ninth with Button in 10th.

VETTEL IS THE WINNER! All too easy in the end for the German driver as Red Bull claim the glory. A sixth win of the season for Vettel. Superb stuff. Was never under any threat.

McLaren are in danger of not scoring a point out there today. Jenson Button 10th, Kimi Raikkonen 11th and Perez in 12th.

Vettel being told to just focus on nursing his car home. No need to set any more fast laps with what has gone out there today.

Raikkonen has gone past Perez. Button remains on course for one point in 10th place.

Hamilton goes beyond Perez without too much fuss. Button battling for 10th spot. All the battles raging further down the field at the moment.

Raikkonen continues to close the gap on Hamilton. The Finn defending 11th place with some relish out there.

Massa starting to close on Webber. The gap down to 1.9 seconds with six laps remaining.

Scrap between Grosjean and Ricciardo for seventh place with Hamilton and Raikkonen jousting for 11th position.

Vettel managing this gap with 10 seconds. Losing a bit of speed due to the gearbox, but he is trying to nurse it home. Will he keep pushing on or slow it down a bit now.

Webber told to short shift from gear two to gear three otherwise he won't finish the race. Problems for him to get over the line here among the points.

Now down to the final 10 laps with Vettel holding this commanding lead. Raikkonen manages to pass Gutiereez into Turn One for 12th place.

Webber has been informed that there is a problem with his car. Lewis Hamilton has set the fastest lap of the race in 14th spot. The Mercedes driver is 40 seconds seconds off the pace. One second behind Raikkonen.

Real battle on between Alonso and Webber for second spot. Vettel appear to have this Italian GP well and truly nailed down.

Romain Grosjean takes out Sergio Perez into Turn One for 10th place. Lewis Hamilton pits from fifth spot before rejoining Kimi Raikkonen in 14th spot.

Hamilton in the pits for 3.2 seconds. Comes back out in 14th place. So he will have it all to do again with his two-stop strategy after that slow puncture.

So Vettel leads Alonso by 10.8 seconds. De Resta is under investigation after hitting Grosjean early in the race and dropping out.
