CHANCE! Kazakhstan drop a dangerous corner into the box and the ball falls to Finonchenko but his strike is well blocked in the six-yard box.
Keane is sniffing around for his second of the night but McGeady's floated cross is just taken off his head.
CHANCE! McGeady again skips past his man but his shot on the edge of the area is well blocked by a wall of defenders.
That is exactly what Ireland needed, the direct running of McGeady caused panic in the visitor's defence and opened up the perfect opportunity for goal number three.
GOAL! McGeady makes an instant impact as he surges in from the left flank and his cut back is taken off Keane's toes by Shomko only for the ball to trickle into the net.

Ireland are trying to tease Kazakhstan out of their cage and it nearly works as Keane and Doyle combine before the LA Galaxy man fires straight at the keeper.
Ireland are combing the ball across the grass nicely but simplicity rather than ingenuity seems to be the order of the day. The atmosphere has turned decidely flat.
