LAST-GASP GALLAGHER GOAL BREAKS LEEDS HEARTS
Conor Gallagher’s last-gasp goal ensured Chelsea beat Leeds United 3-2 to set up an FA Cup quarter-final tie against Leicester City.
Gallagher, along with Cole Palmer and Ben Chilwell, was one of the star names rested by Mauricio Pochettino for Wednesday’s tie with the in-form Championship side, as Chelsea looked to bounce back from their defeat to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final.
But he was called on from the bench to grab the winner after Mateo Joseph’s second goal of the game had dragged Leeds level just before the hour mark.
Joseph headed in from Jaidon Anthony’s cross to double up on his first senior goal, which opened the scoring in the ninth minute.
Nicolas Jackson and Mykhailo Mudryk put Chelsea ahead by half-time, but the Blues ultimately had to rely on Gallagher to get the job done in the dying embers.

MUDRYK OFF
Mudryk got his goal tonight, and while he faded in the second half, he can be happy with his work. He has made way for Tauriainen.

GOAL!!! CHELSEA 3-2 LEEDS (GALLAGHER)
That's surely the winner for Chelsea?!
Fernandez finds space in midfield and threads a clever ball into Gallagher, who controls it before firing high down the middle of the net. Chelsea take the lead in the last minute of normal time!

EXTRA TIME BECKONS
We're nearly into the final minute of normal time, as Disasi - who has had a poor night - sends an aimless long ball out of play.
It looks like we'll need extra time...

HUGE CHANCE
Palmer's fantastic pass puts in Jackson, whose awkward first touch flashes across the six-yard box to Colwill, but he can't react quickly enough to poke a finish beyond Mesiler.

CHELSEA PRESSURE
Successive corners for Chelsea, who have Leeds locked into their own area at the moment...

LEEDS CHANCE
That could have been the moment for Leeds! A neat move sees Roberts burst down the right and get on the end of some quick interplay from Summerville and Firpo. The full-back lobs in a cross towards Joseph, with Anthony also charging in, but neither of them can connect and Chelsea escape unscathed.

THE BIG GUNS ARE ON
Summerville and Gnonto, Leeds' electric young wing duo, are on. There's 12 minutes left, plus stoppage time. If we don't get a winner in 90 minutes, then we'll go to extra time, remember.

BIG CHANCE
Mudryk floats in an inviting cross to the far post, where Jackson is waiting to get on the end of it. Firpo, though, does enough to knock the striker off balance as he rises for a header, which Jackson directs up harmlessly, and despite the appeals from the Chelsea fans, there is no chance that's a penalty.

35 MINUTES
It has been just over 35 minutes since Chelsea last attempted a shot. This has been a dreadful second-half display, and the Leeds fans seem hugely confident their team can go on and complete the comeback...

PENNY FOR POCH'S THOUGHTS
Pochettino looks hugely frustrated on the bench, but frankly, does he really deserve any slack at this stage?
Chelsea have spent hundreds of millions, yet they look lost. They have scored two excellent goals but otherwise, Leeds are fully deserving of parity, and the away side have dominated in the second half.
