Pepe manages to nod the ball down to Amauri in the six-yard area... blocked en route to goal and frantically cleared! Here come Juve again and the cross falls at the feet of Del Piero in plenty of space... FIRED OVER THE BAR!! That miss was every bit as bad as Pazzini's!

Four minutes of added time are signalled.

Del Piero is played in by Martinez, he gets inside the box and he'll SHOOT... SAVED BY CURCI!! The Samp keeper has had little to do all match, but he was equal to Del Piero's strike which, in fairness, could have been better.

Mannini gets shown a yellow card for a foul on Pepe. Neither side seems much interested in winning this game anymore.

Marchisio picks up a booking for a foul on Palombo. He's the fifth Juve player to go into the referee's book.

Juve substitution: Jorge Martinez replaces Aquilani.

After some treatment, it looks as though Pepe will continue.

Pepe slips and falls awkwardly after failing to sneak his way past Ziegler.

The initial ball is cleared but Samp retain possession and win another corner off Grosso.

Pepe digs out a cross from the right and Amauri meets it with a leaping header... way over the bar! It was a difficult chance, to be fair, but with a record like his every missed chance will be noted.

Sampdoria substitution: Fernando Tissone replaces Pozzi. The substitute has been substituted after just 10 minutes on the field!

Juve pour men forward from that bungled set piece and they win a free-kick in the Sampdoria half. Del Piero's delivery is poor though.

Guberti wins Sampdoria a corner, but they fail to make anything of it after taking it short.

Del Piero cuts inside past Poli and curls in an inviting cross which Amauri can't get to in time. The Juve veteran's flu doesn't seem to be that bad!

Macheda and Chiellini collide inside the Juve area... NO PENALTY! They both hit the deck after a perfectly fair bumping of shoulders, and are all smiles as they get up and shake hands.

Del Piero bends in the free-kick from deep but the ball sails into the arms of Curci.
