Mauri picks out Floccari with a wonderful ball into the box but the striker is just unable to bring the ball under control and Palermo get it clear.

Miccoli tries to whip a ball into the box from the left-hand side but his effort is deflected clear.

Hernanes receives the ball on the edge of the area and shoots first time, bringing out a decent save from Ujkani.

Palermo come into this game on a bad run, having lost their last three games, while they have failed to win in their last seven. In contrast, Lazio have won their last four matches and are unbeaten in 14 games.

Vladimir Petkovic, Lazio manager: "Palermo are not an easy opponent to beat, they're at home and they will want to pick up some points. We will need to give more than 100 per cent."

Today's game is a big one for both sides. 19th-placed Palermo will want to reduce the deficit of four points that separates them from safety, while third-placed Lazio have a chance to join Juventus at the top of the league if they win. Juve, however, take on Udinese later tonight so it could prove to be only temporary.

Palermo make three changes from the side that lost to Napoli last week with Kurtic, Ilicic, Dybala and Miccoli coming in for Barreto, Anselmo, Budan and Brienza. Lazio, meanwhile, make three changes from the side that beat Atalanta last week, with Cavanda, Cana and Floccari coming in for Konko, Candreva and Klose.
