Hello and welcome to our LIVE coverage of this evening's Serie A clash between Palermo and Lazio.

The home crowd are really getting behind their team now. They sense they are close to finding an equaliser.

Garica pours down the left before pulling the ball back to Miccoli in the middle but Ciani gets a vital block in to stop the shot.

Morganella whips a ball into the box from the right but Marchetti is able to deal with it comfortably.

This is a very positve start from Palermo. Lazio are being restricted to playing on the break at the moment.

Marchetti does brilliantly to rush off his line and punch away a poor header back from Cavanda with Miccoli waiting to pounce.

Miccoli's corner, however, is easily dealt with by the Lazio defence.

Palermo break down the other end through Dybala who does well to win the corner.

Floccari gets on the end of a long ball forward but Garcia is there to clear the danger.

So can the home side find that elusive equaliser? They certainly looked like they were not too far away in the first half.

Palermo make a half-time change as Munoz comes on for Aronica.

And there goes the half-time whistle. Lazio have the lead but Palermo are unlucky not to be level, having put plenty of pressure on their opponents.

Miccoli goes into the book for a handball.

The ball comes out to Hernanes who brings a great save out of Ujkani, palming the ball away to safety.

Mauri sends the free-kick straight into the wall.

Mauri wins a free-kick for Lazio right on the edge of the box after a foul from Aronica. This could be dangerous for Palermo.

Miccoli sends the free-kick into the box but Ciani is there to get head the danger away. He has put in a number of vital defensive headers tonight.

Cavanda receives a yellow card for a late tackle on Garcia. Palermo win a free-kick in a promising position.

Arevalo takes a tumble in the Lazio box and appeals for a penalty but the referee waves for the game to carry on.

Palermo break down the other end as Miccoli latches onto a long ball over the top but Radu comes across with a great tackle to put a stop to the attack.

Lulic makes a run down the right and has Cana waiting unmarked in the box but he is just unable to pick out his team-mate. A real let-off for Palermo.
