That’s not something Atalanta coach Colantuono would have liked being forced into so early on in this match but his side have coped well with Juve’s attacking threat so far.

Juve have seen all of the ball in the opening exchanges. They’re pushing high up the pitch as Pirlo’s clipped ball over the top finds Quagliarella. The striker cuts inside of Canini and then fires into the arms of Consigli.

Caceres ventures down the left and then cuts inside, fizzing the ball into the feet of Isla whose ball out wide is hit far too hard as Matri is unable to stop it from rolling out for a goal kick.

Juventus, opting to play with three at the back, knock it around between their defenders very patiently. Will they opt this style of play throughout the entire match or are they just looking to feel their way into this?
