Sheffield United versus West Ham United LIVE: Hammers looking to extend unbeaten Premier League run

Sheffield United struck late to claim a point against West Ham, after a wild injury time period at Bramall Lane.

Rhian Brewster and Vladimir Coufal were both shown a red card after normal time had elapsed, before an Oliver McBurnie penalty in the 13th minute of injury time salvaged a draw.

In a game where they were mostly outplayed, West Ham thought they’d won the match with 11 minutes to go. Good work from Danny Ings earned West Hm a penalty, which was dispatched emphatically by James Ward-Prowse.

Prior to that Sheffield United had missed a gilt-edge chance when loan signing Ben Brereton Diaz dragged a shot wide when clean through. It was Brereton Diaz that had scored the hosts first equaliser of the game, when his half volley late in the first half cancelled out an opener from Maxwel Cornet.

The point doesn’t affect either teams place in the league table, as West Ham remain sixth and Sheffield United are still rooted to the foot of the table.

This is incredible! Johnson crosses from the right, and Bowen goes down mid-tussle with Ahmedhodzic. The ball hits Bowen's hand and it's a free kick for the hosts, but the West Ham bench are furious!

McBurnie takes it, and drives it low to the left and into the net. Bramall Lane, as you might well imagine, erupts!

Areola needs treatment on a cut lip for several minutes, and is replaced by Fabianski who has to face a penalty immediately! What a situation to come into!

Oh my days! West Ham clear the fee kick but the ball is soon worked to McAtee on the right corner of the area. He whips a ball in to McBurnie, who is wiped out in the air by Areola and Sheffield United can nock a draw here!

Coufal brings down McAtee, and two yellows equals red. It's also one last chance for Sheffield United to lob the ball into the box...

Mubama replaces Ings for West Ham.

Ward-Prowse finds Coufal on the right of the area,. who crosses low into the six-yard box. The ball breaks to Ings, who sees two shots blocked by Robinson before Sheffield United clear.

Sure enough, Salisbury takes a look and there's only one decision to make, Brewster is off. Coufal also gets booked, but I have no idea what for and Coufal looks bemused as well.

We have six minutes to go minimum, as Brewster flies in on Emerson and clatters him. He gets a yellow but that was studs up and wildly out of control, if they review this I think we'll see a red card.

More possession from West Ham, as they try to eek out what time is left here. They eventually work a shot for Johnson on the edge, but it's a rugby conversion of a shot that floats over.

Norwood replaces Souza for the hosts.

There's a break in play here as Zouma has gone down awkwardly in his own area.

West Ham lure the Blades in, before winning it in their own half and breaking quickly. Johnson finds Ings, who finds Bowen in the area; Bowen cuts onto his left and shoots, but gets under it far too much and it sails off target.

Wilder reacts quickly, and Norrington-Davies and Brewster replace Brooks and Trusty.

It's Ward-Prowse to take, and he buries it down the middle as Fodderingham gambles big to his right. Just like that, West Ham lead!

This is brilliant from Ings, as he Cruyff turns quickly in the box and then nutmegs Robinson to go through. Hamer tries to check him but catches the back of Ings's foot, and it's a clear penalty

Ahmedhodzic goes through the back of Ings, and it's a deserved yellow.
