MANAGER HEAD-TO-HEAD
Guardiola has won 13 of 22 games against Pochettino as a manager.
That includes knocked Pochettino's Paris Saint-Germain out of the Champions League in 2020-21, but two seasons earlier it was Pochettino's Spurs who eliminated City and Guardiola.
This is their first meeting since the Argentinian took over as Chelsea boss.

GROUNDHOG DAY

BIG DAY FOR PALMER
Today is a big day for Palmer, who has already got more leagues minutes at Chelsea than he ever managed at Man City, and has become established as a key player and penalty-taker.
"It’s easier to adapt to the Premier League when you have played in it," Pochettino said of him quickly settling in.
"When a player comes from outside England, first of all, you don’t know if they can understand the language, the culture, the food, the weather. It’s not easy for a Manchester boy to come to London and adapt, but it’s not the same."
Asked about Palmer swapping Manchester for London, his new manager added that "there are many different reasons players split " from clubs.
"It’s not fair to say it surprised me because he’s now performing and he didn’t play too much at City. We are two different clubs, with different ambitions and objectives. Maybe Chelsea fits really well for Cole."
