Burnley versus Everton LIVE: Relegation zone rivals in action at Turf Moor

Everton secured their fourth victory in a row in the Premier League with a comfortable 2-0 win over Burnley at Turf Moor.

The home side suffered their 13th Premier League defeat of the season, after a tame display in which they forced only one meaningful save from Jordan Pickford.

Everton kept the hosts at arms length throughout, with a makeshift back three of Michael Keane, James Tarkowski and Ben Godfrey securing their fourth clean sheet in as many games.

Two goals within the space of six first half minutes put Everton on the road to victory. Amadou Onana thumped in a close range header from a Dwight McNeil corner, before Michael Keane converted a rebound after his initial shot was saved by James Trafford.

Everton move up to 16th in the table, while Burnley remain in the relegation zone and six points from safety.

That's full time, and Everton have won this comfortably.

Tresor cuts in from the left and shoots from 25 yards out, but it sails way over the bar.

Everton break and Garner slides Beto through into the area, but Trafford is out quickly to make a smart save.

There will be a minimum of three more minutes.

Trafford takes an age to send a ball forward from his own half, and comes within a whisker of being dispossessed by Beto and leaving an empty net. The ball squirms clear out of the challenge, and Burnley dodged one there.

Tresor and Redmond replace Odobert and Vitinho.

Odobert does well to keep an overhit cross in play at the back post. It's hooked back to the penalty spot, but Keane gets there first.

Brownhill lofts a free kick into the Everton area, where Foster glances it wide of the far post.

In other news, apparently Garner was booked for kicking the ball away beforehand.

It's Beto on for Calvert-Lewin for Everton. For Burnley, Benson replaces Bruun Larsen.

From the edge of the box, Berge side-foots a fierce shot off the underside of the bar and out. As it turns out, there was a Burnley player offside earlier in the move so it would have been chalked anyhow.

Burnley need to conjure something soon, surely. And as I type that...

Vitinho gets forward down the left, but can only plug a poor cross straight into the hands of Pickford. Only Bruun Larsen was in the box; Burnley have been poor up front so far.

Foster wriggles past a couple on the right, and crosses low into the area. Keane, who has stood out tonight, clears for a corner kick from which nothing comes.

Al-Dakhil replaces Delcroix for Burnley.

After that flurry of action it's gone quiet again at Turf Moor. Kompany is preparing another change.

Amdouni has a lash from 25 yards out. It's a great hit, bound for the top corner, but Pickford gets a strong hand on it to put it behind for a corner.

It's another Everton corner, again it's put right on Trafford at the back post and again Trafford has an unconvincing swat at it. The ball pinballs around and someone - I think Keane - clips the ball onto the post from short range before Burnley scramble clear.

Bruun Larsen pokes a ball in behind Tarkowski to Amdouni in the area. Tarkowski holds Amdouni off with his arm, and Amdouni hits the floor; there are half-hearted appeals for a penalty but nothing doing.

Keane rakes a 40 yard diagonal to McNeil, who plucks it expertly out of the sky. McNeil then whips a cross to the back post, but Trafford gathers.

Bruun Larsen clips the top of what is a very sizeable Everton wall, and it loops out for a corner.
