AN UNDESERVED WIN FOR SPURS!
Brighton could have had at least one of their disallowed goal stand and definitely should have been given a penalty. Once again Kane and Son get Spurs points their play hasn't deserved.
HOJBERG BOOKED FOR A CYNICAL FOUL ON MAC ALLISTER
Yellow card
P. Højbjerg
DUNK GETS AWAY WITH STAMP ON ROMERO'S TOE
Not penalised by the referee, though Romero's rolling around the floor was just as egregous.
ENCISCO ON FOR VELTMAN
On
J. Enciso
Off
J. Veltman
GOAL FOR TOTTENHAM!
A fine pull back from Hojberg to the edge of the area and Kane, all on his own, smashes the ball into the top left hand corner.

DANJUMA REPLACES KULUSEVSKI FOR SPURS

WEBSTER REPLACED COLWILL FOR BRIGHTON

MITOMA DOWN IN THE BOX
The referee was close by and says no penalty. Mitoma is still down but VAR did not check this for long at all. The replays show Doherty did stand on Mitoma's foot. Brighton have been hard done by here.
PERISIC GOES INTO THE BOOK
He made a scissor challenge and although he won the ball he still gives away a dangerous free kick a few yards away from the right edge of the penalty area.
Yellow card
I. Perišic
FERGUSON ON FOR WELBECK
He is unlucky not to have got a goal but most non-Spurs onlookers will be keen to see the young Irishman.
On
E. Ferguson
Off
D. Welbeck
KULUSEVSKI CUTS IN FROM THE RIGHT WING
But he could not get any curl on his shot and it flies a couple of yards wide.
GROSS CAUTIONED FOR DISSENT
Yellow card
P. Groß
KANE HAS FIRST SIGHT OF GOAL
But he blazes over the bar.
DE ZERBI AND STELLINI GET RED CARDS
Stellini didn't seem to do a great deal but it might be as much an award for not controlling their staff.
PUSHING AND SHOVING ON THE SIDELINE
Italian coaches and their staff engage in some pushing and shoving off the field which stops the game.
GOAL FOR BRIGHTON - NO!
Welbeck turns on his left foot leaving Hojberg standing and curls an effort at goal which deflects off Mac Allister and wrong foots Lloris. VAR are checking whether it hit the Argentine's hand.....and it has been disallowed.
PERISIC GETS BEHIND DEFENCE
And his shot squeezes under Steele's arm, but he got just enough contact to ensure it deflects wide of the goal.
MITOMA GETS AROUND ROMERO
But can't turn a cross into the middle with the ball hitting the side-netting.
SPURS GET THE GAME BACK UNDERWAY...
AN ENTERTAINING GAME!
Brighton the better side but Spurs more dangerous when they get into the final third. Interestingly, a few boos as Spurs come off at the interval.
