FT: MAN CITY 3-1 LEICESTER
The ultimate game of two halves. In the first, City were brilliant and wiped the floor with an unconfident Leicester.
However, they were far too relaxed in the second half and they could have easily been punished if the Foxes were more clinical.
Guardiola rested his key players for the second half and in the end it worked out okay.
Eyes on Munich for City!

OFF THE POST
So unlucky. Maddison plays Iheanacho in. Great pass and he has time and space to finish but his shot hits the post. Incredible. Man City should count themselves lucky as they have been awful and far too relaxed in this second period.

Daka comes on to replace Ndidi.

PENALTY SHOUT
The corner from the Ederson save results in chaos.
Faes' header hits Gomez's arm supposedly but it is not a penalty, far too close range.
VAR looked but says no.
84'
BIG SAVE
Man City get away with one - should be 3-2.
Maddison is in after City give it away but it is a poor finish from their star man and Ederson saves.
A really poor scuffed shot from the man they'd expect to convert.
82'
BACK IN CONTROL
Man City do well to regain possession and start to frustrate their opponents again by keeping the ball, taking the sting and momentum out of Leicester.
79'
UNLUCKY
Leicester are having a go now. Iheanacho dances around challenges and has a shot from the edge of the box.
It goes high and wide but it was great skill from the substitute.
77'
GAME ON?
A tin bit of hope for Leicester now... City have completely relaxed and taken their foot off the gas so much and the Foxes will think perhaps there is a way into this.
City remain a threat on the break but it is tough to turn it back on, which they may have to do.

GREALISH OFF
This shows how importance he has become to be handed a rest. Grealish off for Gomez.

A SHOT ON TARGET
Leicester get a shot on target!
Castagne gets down the right and cuts it back to Praet, but his shot is weak and Ederson saves with ease.
68'
GREAT BLOCK
Leicester never look convincing defending a set-piece and they again concede a shot.
Grealish this time has a go only for Souttar to throw himself in front of the ball.
65'
PASSIONATE AS EVER
His players may be taking it easy but Guardiola is not. He is directing his team on the sidelines as if it is 0-0.
It remains a flat second half.

DE BRUYNE OFF
De Bruyne is off for Palmer.
And Smith makes two subs - Dewsbury-Hall and Tielemans are replaced by Praet and Mendy.
61'
GREAT SAVE
City play a short corner before rolling it back to Mahrez.
The winger lines a trademark, curling shot into the top corner and Iversen tips over excellently.
60'
LUCKY ESCAPE
Dewsbury-Hall with a frustrated tackle on Walker. He should be booked, but he gets let off by the referee.
Palmer is readying himself to come on.
58'
SENSATIONAL RUN
Grealish does his defensive work and combines well with Silva.
The Portuguese midfielder finds him brilliantly with a reverse ball and Grealish is off.
He dribbles it into the final third before being tripped.
55'
TRAINING MATCH
This has got the feel of a training game, City are not being challenged and Leicester have accepted their fate.
Bigger games versus Wolves, Leeds and Everton are to come. Will they be able to pick themselves up for those?
