Shaw throws over a cross, but Van Persie can't turn the header back across goal. Wide of goal, and that will be a goalkick that Hart will take.

Clichy fortunate to escape a booking for hauling back Januzaj as he threatened to race clear down a flank.

Shaw goes in a bit late on Navas. Nothing too cynical about that challenge.

Referee is wanting a word or two with Aguero. The danger is there for United. Especially with the pace and trickery of Aguero very much to the fore.

Aguero beats the offside trap, but his shot from an acute angle is beaten out by De Gea in the United goal. Perhaps would have been better looking for a man there.

Aguero has the best minutes-per-goal ratio in Premier League history (minimum of 15 goals). He has scored a goal every 110 minutes. Thierry Henry is next with a goal every 122 minutes.

Navas lifts the cross straight out of play from out wide. Poor stuff really from a man of his calibre.

Another offside decision goes against United as Van Persie is caught napping this time. Plenty of noise from the City fans. The home team on the ball after United shed possession cheaply.
