Baines dinks in a ball, poor really as it is straight to the head of Gorkss, but the defender's header is weak and to Naismith. The Latvian then looks to spring the offside trap but plays Osman onside - and the England international fires over from inside the box! Should have been number two for Everton, but Federici in fact got a hand to it. Great save.

Thomas Hitzlsperger with one of those trademark strikes from distance, parried out by Federici - it was straight at him but swerving. Jelavic unable to get a head on the rebound, but the flag was up against him anyway.
