QPR have won just one of their last four home games against the Baggies (W1 D1 L2), but manager Harry Redknapp has a record of won four, drawn three and lost one against West Brom as a coach in the Premier League. The Baggies have won five and lost just one of the last nine league games against Rangers, while Chris Brunt has scored in his three of his last four games against QPR at Loftus Road (two for WBA, one for Sheffield Wednesday).

Steve Clarke: "To be sitting on 30 points before the halfway stage is a good achievement for them. We can use that as a springboard and an inspiration to do even better during the second half of the season. It has given us a great platform to build on for 2013 and we will give everything in the remaining games to complete the job we have started."

Harry Redknapp: "It disturbed me when a player doesn't want to sit on the bench when you are bang in trouble. We are all in trouble. The owner and the fans see their team losing every week and suddenly you get someone who doesn't want to sit on the bench. He (Bosingwa) said: 'I don't want to sit on the bench.' He thinks he is too good to sit on the bench. That is what disturbs me in this game. I have seen one or two incidents that have disturbed me."

West Brom's Youssouf Mulumbu returns after suspension. The midfielder was unavailable for the weekend home win over Norwich after incurring five bookings this season. But defender Steven Reid (ankle) and midfielder Claudio Yacob (hamstring) remain out.

QPR goalkeeper Julio Cesar (back) returns to the bench, but full-backs Nedum Onuoha and Armand Traore miss out with hamstring injuries. Park Ji-Sung (knee), Andrew Johnson (knee) and Bobby Zamora (hip) remain absent.

Today's match will now kick-off at 3.15pm, because the West Brom team bus arrived at Loftus Road late after being stuck in traffic.
