Martin Jol: "I don't deny that we are looking for a goalkeeper. There is a lot of speculation in the press. I have a young goalkeeper in Neil Etheridge, he is out on loan and so is David Stockdale. He doesn't want to be number two so that could be a little problem, so of course we are always looking for a goalkeeper."

Alan Pardew: "I am confident we have the ability in the squad to get ourselves into a position where we are still a Premier League side next season. We are going to be under pressure against Fulham and we are going to have to cope with it."

The Magpies haven’t kept a clean sheet in the Premier League since January, conceding 17 goals in nine games.

The Cottagers have lost just one of their last five league games away from home (W2 D2). However, Fulham have scored only five times in their last six on the road.
