And that is the final whistle. Reading thoroughly deserve their three points here but Fulham will be disappointed they could not convert some more of their chances. They had enough to win today but were unable to break down a stubborn Reading side.

Reading have seen this game out wonderfully. They've kept Fulham giving them free-kicks and thros in these final minutes. Fulham try to go long but the ball goes up in the air. Reading with another free kick though through Blackman.

Schwarzer is hardly in a rush. Probably knows this game is beyond Fulha,. He sends it long but Reading come forward again after a clever dummy from Le Fondre and good wing play by Karacan.

Four minutes of added time for Fulham to get another goal. Berbatov flicks on to Rodallega who gets into the area but his low shot is gathered easily by McCarthy.

Goal mouth scramble. Ruiz crosses and finds Rodallega who tries an over-head kick. Reading appeal for a handball but Fulham play on and only some last ditch defending and the outstretched arms of McCarthy stop Rodallega poking it home.

Reading defend in numbers to thwart another attack. They break through Blackman but Senderos does well and sends Fulham on their way down the right through Ruiz.

Guthrie is doing very well to control the play in the middle but as it goes wide he loses it to Kaciniklic. He dribbles down the left before clipping ab all into Rodallega. He hits the outside of the post with his header.

Ruiz sends the ball down the channel for Berbatov but the Bulgarian doesn't have the pace to get on the end of it.
