Dyer runs free on the right and puts in a clever cross. It's inches away from Graham but Al Habsi races out and clears.

Great defending from Williams after Sammon was through on goal. The defender won the ball back and passed it clear effortlessly.

Wigan's early pressing and closing down has long since stopped and Swansea are in control as much as a team can be without scoring.

Jordi Gomez runs into Leon Britton and wins a free-kick. It's very central and about 40 yards out. Beausejour dinks it in and Vorm smothers it at the second attempt.

Wigan haven't had a shot on or off target as of yet, while Swansea have had three on and three off.

Stephen Caulker romps forward and finds himself on the right wing. He plays it back for Dyer who squares it to an unmarked Sigurdsson 25 yards out. From a central position he hits a shot but it goes wide.

Sigurdsson slips a delicious pass through to Dyer in the Wigan penalty area. The winger goes for goal and sees his shot saved rather than laying it off for Graham who was screaming for it in the middle of the goal for an easy tap-in. Perhaps a little bit selfish by Dyer.

Dyer skips past Figueroa with a lovely drop of the should. Boyce isn't having any of it though and lumps it out for a throw-in.

Poor Conor Sammon. He's been given no service from midfield lately and every long ball is gobbled up by Caulker or Williams.

Just as I type that, Gary Caldwell gets frustrated and smashes a long ball as hard as he can. Needless to say it goes right into the hands of Michel Vorm.

That was better from Wigan. They built that attack with patience and weren't afraid to pass it around and wait for an opening. More of that, please.

Neat play from Beausejourand Wigan start to pass it around nicely. Gomez breaks forward on the right wing and pulls back a cross but Williams hits it off Boyce and out for a goal-kick.

The change in formation doesn't have an instant impact as Swansea continue to press and Wigan continue to sit.

Graham picks himself up and gets on with the game as Martinez switches his formation to a 4-4-2 with Figueroa dropping back to left-back and Alcaraz moving to right-back.

Brendan Rodgers will be happy with what he's seen so far, but I imagine Martinez and the home fans will not.

Danny Graham is down injured clutching his head after Alcaraz stands on him before collapsing onto the striker. He's a big lad though, he'll be fine.

Caulker does well and heads it out for a throw-in deep in his own half giving Wigan an opportunity to get forward but a stray pass from Figueroa puts it out for a goal-kick.

Sigurdsson with the set piece and drifts it in. Caldwell nods it clear but it falls straight to Sinclair who hits a rocket inches wide. That would have torn through the net if it was on target. Near miss for Wigan.

Figuerora with a late tackle on Dyer and Andre Marriner gives a free-kick.

Caretaker England manager Stuart Pearce is in the stands today. I wonder who he's looking out for? Britton, Caulker and Sinclair?

Not meaning to jinx it, but it's no surprise these two team can't score from what we've seen today. Swansea seem reluctant to take a shot first-time and Wigan are so deep it's unreal. You'd think they'd push out when at home against Swansea.
