Van der Vaart clips another dangerous ball into the box - this time from the right - but Vorm is able to pluck the ball away from Adebayor's head.

Good work by Sinclair, who gets back to halt a Spurs attack being led by Walker down the right.

Van der Vaart takes the corner himself but Swansea clear only as far as Assou-Ekotto, who fizzes a ferocious low drive wide from 30 yards.

Dyer recovers the ball but sells Vorm short with a back pass, but the Dutch keeper does just enough to clear. The ball only goes as far as Van der Vaart, who forces another Spurs corner.

Sustained spell of possession ends with Modric misplacing a through ball to Bale.

Gower beats Assou-Ekotto and crosses from the right towards Moore, but Gallas covers at the expense of a corner, which Bale clears at the near post.

Van der Vaart whips in the corner from the left and finds the head of Kaboul, but Williams is on hand to hack the ball away.

Good play by Adebayor, who tries to squeeze gbetween two Swansea defenders and wins a corner.

The rain is getting heavier and heavier in Swansea, but the mood of the home fans has not been dampened. They are getting right behind their side, who have looked solid so far.

We're over halfway through the first half and Spurs are finding it tough against an organised and dangerous Swansea side. Who will come out on top?

Great effort by Sinclair! Luke Moore spots Sinclair in space 25 yards from goal just left of centre, and the former Chelsea man curls a beautiful effort at goal that drops just wide of Freidel's right post.

Spurs beginning to look more dangerous going forward. Parker gets the ball back from Adebayor, and squeezes a cross in from the right but Vorm comes out to claim.

Luke Moore does well to beat Gallas to the ball and then finds Dobbie. But Dobbie's snap-shot is charged down by Sandro on the edge of the box. The Brazilian has been superb so far.

Van der Vaart threads the ball through to Adebayor, who pokes just wide. But it matters little as the Togo striker is offside.

Dobbie exploits some space in front of the Spurs defence, but Sandro gets back brilliantly to steal the ball from his feet before he is able to shoot.

Richards sees another decision go against him, having tripped Bale again. This is a battle that already look onimous for the Swansea right-back.

Van de Vaart whips the resulting free-kick into the box but it just sails over the head of Gallas, who is offside.

Bale is flattened on the touchline by Ashley Richards, who is promptly shown the yellow card.

Tottenham beginning to see more of the ball after that fast Swansea start.

Spurs enjoy their first period of possession of the match. Good interchange between Modric, Bale and van der Vaart sees Modric get the ball back on the edge of the box, but the Croatian is hurried into shooting wide.
