Fulham have certainly been the better side so far, though West Brom have had one or two chances, and probably the best chance of the game through Thomas.

Panstil crosses for Dempsey, it runs all the way through to Davis and drops for the Welshman on the volley...but he doesn't catch it cleanly and Carson gathers.

A neat passage of play from West Brom as they spread it out to Hurst on the right, but his cross is overhit.

Nicky Shorey had a spell here on loan last season, so should feel reasonably at home here.

It looks like Cech's evening may be over....indeed it is. Nicky Shorey is on in his place.

Play recommences, and immediately Zuiverloon pulls off another great block to deny Dempsey on the volley!!

Cech is down receiving treatment. Replays show Pantsil caught him on the knee with his studs, though it didn't look deliberate.

Lovely exchange between Duff and Pantsil, but Jara slides in with an excellent block, before Cech takes a heavy challenge from Pantsil, and is evidently in some pain!

Duff crosses himself in towards Dempsey at the far post...though it doesn't quite fall for the American. Better delivery, though.

Fulham are pressing well at the moment, while West Brom are struggling to impose their usual brand of passing football on the game. Duff wins Fulham a free-kick in the Baggies' half now.

Dorrans beats Etuhu with a cheeky stepover, then threads a gorgeous through ball for Brunt...who is inches away from getting onto the end of that! Lovely play from Dorrans.

Odemwingie caught offside as West Brom look to relieve the pressure by hoisting it long.

Lovely interplay from Fulham to release the onrushing Baird down the left hand side, and Zuiverloon is forced to concede a corner. Davies' cross is a good one, and Carson is a little fortunate to see the ball go harmlessly across goal after he comes but fails to get a touch on the ball.

Howls of protest from the home fans as referee Martin Atkinson penalises Murphy for a trip on Odemwingie. Dorrans with the delivery once again fromt he left flank, much better this time, though credit to Stockdale for coming racing from his line to punch clear.

Dorrans whips the corner in, but Etuhu is there to head clear.

Poor header from Panstil presents the ball to Thomas, he tries to bustle his way past Hughes, but the defender manages to deflect the shot wide for a corner.

Murphy hangs it up high towards Hangeland at the back post, but Carson has the time to punch clear of danger.

Dempsey shows great bravery to win a free-kick deep in the Albion half - putting his head in the way of an attempted overhead clearance from Hurst.

That was by far and away the best chance of the match so far.

GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY FOR THOMAS...SAVED BY STOCKDALE! It was a fine through-ball from Chris Brunt, and Thomas's run was good as well, but the finish lacked conviction. He hit it straight at the 'keeper.
