West Brom desperately need to gain a foothold in the game and get themselves out of their own half.

Duff whistles a rasping low shot just past the far post with his weaker right foot! Excellent effort, and that really was very close to being Fulham's second!

Odemwingie caught offside from a Carson kick out, and Fulham can come forward again. The one problem West Brom have when their midfield is being outplayed, is that Odemwingie's lack of size doesn't really give them the option to go long.

Fulham have begun the second half much the same way that they began the first - in the West Brom half, but not creating much in the way of chances.

Looking at the West Brom bench, Tchoyi, Miller and Fortune would be their attacking options. Fulham meanwhile, have the dilemma of whether to sit on their lead or whether to go for a second goal that, one would think, would prove decisive.

The one thing Fulham don't want now is a draw. Ten of their 20 games so far this season have resulted in draws, and that's principally the reason they've only taken two home wins all season.

Thomas looks to skin Panstil on the left wing, but his control lets him down as he runs the ball out of play.

Incidentally, it appears there was probably a foul by Etuhu in the build-up to the Fulham goal right at the end of the first half that Albion manager Roberto di Matteo was pretty unhappy about.

West Brom get the second half underway.

Fulham pour forward again through Duff, who sees a low cross come back out for a throw.

GOAL!!! Davis gives Fulham the lead with a long-distance strike that swerved everywhere, and went through the hands of Scott Carson, who has been made to look pretty silly there!!! He did see it all the way, and should certainly have parried it at the very least.

Fine challenge from Thomas to nick the ball away from Duff, though Fulham regain possession in midfield.

Another Fulham attack breaks down as Murphy's flick is intercepted by Mulumbu.

Odemwingie plays it through undelfishly for Brunt...who bizarrely steps over the ball rather than shooting from the edge of the area. To be fair to him, I think it sat just wrong for him with his stride as he stormed in.

Three minutes for Fulham to make their first-half superiority count.

Lovely delivery into the centre of the area...AND HANGELAND HEADS JUST PAST THE POST WITH CARSON WELL BEATEN!!! Carson has looked far from comfortable on crosses tonight, and he was beaten by an admittedly towering leap from Hangeland there.

The ball spins clear of a 50-50 challenge to Duff on the edge of the area, he sets himself, and sees a deflected shot dribble just past the post with Carson scrambling!

Panstil scuffs a cross with Kamara lurking in the centre.

Odemwingie skips clear of Hangeland on the left wing, but is dispossessed as he closes in on the area.

Thomas lays it back for Dorrans, who drills a curling shot just over the bar. To be fair, Stockdale had that one covered all the way, though it was a decent hit.
