Jonathan David equalised in stoppage time as Lille held Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain to a 1-1 draw.

PSG, lethargic for much of the match, were gifted a second-half opener when Bafode Diakite needlessly felled Lucas Hernandez in the Lille penalty area. Kylian Mbappe coolly dispatched the spot kick.

The Parisians' understudy goalkeeper Arnau Tenas did not have to make a save before stoppage time and they looked to be heading for all three points.

However, Lille pounced when substitute Marco Asensio gave the ball away deep inside his own half, and fellow replacement David reacted quickest to head home on the rebound after Tenas had saved a deflected shot with his legs.

PSG's lead at the Ligue 1 summit has grown this weekend thanks to Nice losing, but only to five points. Lille move up to fourth.
