That's a huge result for Blanc's PSG side, who maintain their unbeaten start to the Ligue 1 season with an impressive win in Le Clasique. Verratti and Matuidi were the pick of the bunch for me, but Marseille will be disappointed they didn't do more with their man advantage.

Andre Ayew lines up one final freekick effort on goal, after Matuidi brought down Valbuena on the edge of the box, but his shot strikes the top of the wall and rebounds away from goal.

Verratti and Matuidi have been exceptional in the centre of midfield. It's where the game has been won for PSG, despite having to deal with a man handicap. Having said that, Marseille's response since losing their lead has been disappointing.

Mendy attempts a cross from the left wing, but he casually balloons the ball out of play for a goal kick. That sums up Marseille's second half.

Thauvin peels away to the backpost to meet Valbuena's deep cross, but his header to the nearpost is read by Sirigu, who saves comfortably. The Italian keeper has been magnificent tonight.

Everything that Marseill throw at PSG is defended well by the makeshift backline. Marquinhos is only 18, yet he is already an accomplished centre back at a high level. Scary.

Matuidi and Verratti are still providing the heartbeat of this PSG side and Rabiot has integrated himself into the midfield well still coming on to fill the void left by the sent off Motta.

However, there are still five minutes of normal time remaining and PSG are technically playing without a striker. They're getting deeper and deeper too. Can Marseille make the pressure count?

The lack of response from Marseille to going a goal down has been disappointing. Valbuena and Ayew aren't doing enough in attack. Fanni is the only player providing an outlet.

Fanni is surging down the right wing at will now, but his crossing has been poor for the large part. You get the sense that if Marseille are to find a goal it'll come from that source.

With that change Blanc has opted for a more defensive outlook, using Cavani as a lone striker with Ibrahimovic withdrawn from the action.
