Czech Republic international striker Jan Koller, of Monaco, has denied reports that he will retire from football after the Euro 2008 championships.
"I definitely didn't say anything like that," he insisted. "Maybe after the European championship I'll begin to consider what I'll do next, but I definitely don't want to end [my career]."
De Morgan in Belgium had quoted Koller: "I feel good at Monaco. I am contracted to them until 2008 and I will stay until then.
"Following that there will be another European Championships in Austria and Switzerland.
"Then I will finish with football and return to the Czech Republic."
Koller began his career with Sparta Prague in 1994 and has been an international fixture since 1999.
The giant striker scored the opening goal in the Czech Republic's 2-0 win against Belgium on Wednesday evening.
His goal-scoring record for his country is better than a goal every two games.
