Good play from Orellana. The Celta Vigo attacker gets to the byline down the right side and tries to fire into the six yard box, but Moya is off his line to gather the ball under pressure.

That's just not good enough from Gabi. He tries to pick out the run of Griezmann down the left side, but the pass is way too strong and the ball drifts out of play. Simeone isn't happy.

And now it's Nolito's turn to have an effort on goal, pinging one from the edge of the Atletico Madrid box. But it picks up a deflection and spins up and over the crossbar.

Larrivey crosses the ball into the Atletico Madrid penalty area from the left side, with Moya getting caught underneath it. But he gets away with it as Siqueira clears the danger at the back post.

Having said that, it's not that Atletico Madrid have been playing poorly as such. It's that Celta Vigo have been playing so well! This has been one of their best displays of the season so far.

Simeone is absolutely fuming on the sidelines. He seems to be telling his players to move the ball quicker and push further up the field. They have been lethargic so far tonight.

The problem for Celta Vigo is that they often flatter to deceive. The way that they play, they really should score more goals, and that is being reflected in their display here tonight.

The worry for Celta Vigo will be that they haven't made the most of their early pressure on the Atletico Madrid goal. Will they rue their missed opportunities to take the lead?

Atletico Madrid need more from Griezmann here. The French international has been in exceptional form for the Liga champions in recent weeks, but he hasn't got into this one yet.

Celta Vigo come close to finding the opening! Nolito wriggles through the challenges of two Atletico Madrid players at the byline before trying to find Larrivey with the pass. But it's cut out!

So far there is too much space between Atletico Madrid's midfield and attack. Of course, that's normally the role that Turan and Garcia would play for the defending Liga champions.

That wasn't too far away. Celta Vigo are showing no fear in attacking Atletico Madrid, and this time Krohn-Dehli swipes a shot from the edge of the penalty area past Moya's goalframe.

Well that was wild. Torres breaks through the lines of Celta Vigo midfield, lining up a strike from 20 yards out. But he slashes across the ball and sends it high and very, very wide.

Most teams would want to avoid being in this sort of situation in a match, but Atletico Madrid seem to thrive on being up against it, with the opposition dominating the possession.

Celta Vigo have taken a grip of this game early on, passing the ball around with ease. Atletico Madrid are sitting deep, as they so often tend to do, inviting pressure on themselves.

This time Nolito tries to break through a packed Atletico Madrid backline, bundling his way through a number of tackles. But in the end Juanfran is on hand to make the challenge.

This Celta Vigo team can pass the ball well and as I've already mentioned, carry a threat in attack. They showed that in their first game against Atletico this season, when they drew 2-2.

Krohn Dehli has a chance to deliver a freekick into the Atletico Madrid penalty area, but his cross is a little too strong and Larrivey can't make a connection at the back post.

This is more of an attacking strategy from Simeone, with Griezmann, Mandzukic and Torres all on the pitch from the start. How will that impact on Atletico Madrid's usual style?
