Barcelona stream forward once again and this time Messi picks up the ball inside the box but his shot is blocked by Juanfran. There were claims of a handball there but the referee waves them away.

Xavi plays a great chipped pass to the byline where Montoya is overlapping but his pass back into the box is a little weak and Navas comes off his line to claim.

Set pieces proves to be a problem for Barcelona and this time Fabregas doesn't stick on Vyntra and the Levante defender makes him pay with a really good header into the net. Big goal!

Levante's problem isn't actually conceding goals. After all they're a decent mid-table team, currently sitting in 12th place, but they don't score enough goals. They're averaging about a goal a game this season.

Barcelona have Levante pegged in their own half at the moment but the home side are defending well so far. Can they keep this up?

Levante will be looking for revenge tonight. Barcelona beat them 7-0 on the opening day of the season, which actually turned out to be their biggest La Liga defeat in history. Can they avenge that loss tonight?

Busquets plays through Messi, who is one-on-one with Navas in the opposition goal but the flag is up and the keeper saves the lobbed effort anyway.

Now Barca come forward with Messi trying to chip through on the edge of the box for Pedro but Levante clear through Lopez.

Levante have actually started well and come forward with pace but El Zhar is adjudged to have handled the ball just when he tries to prod a pass through the Barcelona backline.

The visitors are without Neymar for this game, who picked up an ankle injury during the week. Iniesta and Pique are also missing for Barcelona.

Barca kick off the second half of the season at the top of the Spanish league table and a win tonight will keep them there for a record 58th straight week. Some record.
