Atleti have controlled this game pretty well so far but they really need to create a few more chances for Falcao. He only needs one or two.

Atleti appeal for a handball when the ball appears to strike the right arm of Mikel Balenziaga but they don't get the decision.

Atleti regain possession though and it is Costa who fails to get the ball out from under his feet and get a shot away.

Costa wants a free-kick when being knocked to ground in midfield by Carlos Pena but he doesn't get the decision.

The corner fails to come to anything though as the danger passes for the home side, who then attack through Javi Guerra and the forward strikes a shot off target.

Here come Atleti though as Costa cuts onto his right from the left and sees a deflected effort rustle the side netting.

Valladolid have offered very little in an attacking sense.

Koke takes the corner and it is cleared out by Valladolid. Filipe latches onto the loose ball and thumps it wide from about 50 yards. Hopeful.

A mistake from Valladolid as a header back from Jesus Rueda skids out of play for a corner to Atletico.

Replays suggest Godin was just onside by a whisker when the ball came in, ditto Falcao when he latched onto the rebound.

Falcao's tally is now 60 goals from 75 games for Atletico Madrid. Fantastic.
