More possession from Atletico. They continue to work the ball with speed and accuracy despite their opponents being down to nine men. The ball eventually is worked to Tiago who strikes it. Palop drops the ball into the path of Falcao but the prolific Colombian strikes the ball straight at Palop who gets up well to save again.

Atletico now in complete control against the nine men of Sevilla. A poor pass from Luis though sees Rodriguez chasing alost cause into the corner. Throw in to Sevilla.

Courtois makes his first real save of the match as Baba turns on the edge of the area and lets fly with his right foot. The low powerful shot was gathered by the Belgian goalkeeper at the second attempt.

Gabi is withdrawn for Turkish international Emre in midfield. Most likely a straight swap.
