13'
Lezcano leads the charge at the Stoke defeence, but gives it away cheaply. Stoke then break back and Jones plays it out wide for Pennant, who's backpost cross is cleared away by the Swiss side.
12'
Ghezal hoofs a ball forwards in a manner not dissimilar to Stoke at their finest. It leads nowhere, but in a second phase of play Sorenson has to run out to claim on the edge of his area after the Stoke defence was turned.
10'
Wilkinson's had a poor start to the game. Pennant is running into space out on the right and the Stoke defender massively overhits a simple pass to groans from the supporters.
8'
Luthi puts in a deep cross for Thun, but it's cut out well. Upson comes in with a strong challenge to say the least on Demiri. It wasn't very nice that.
5'
Wilkinson puts in a poor cross after Pennant plays him in with the outside of his boot. Stoke aer letting their opponents have the ball in defence, but as soon as they hit the halfway line they press quickly.
4'
Schneider with an early effort, but it bounces off a Stoke chest from about 30 yards and a poor header from a Thun forward rolls out for a goal kick.
3'
Battig hits a crossfield ball well long and it flies out for a Stoke throw in.
2'
Pennant whips a decent ball with his left foot in towards the near post, but no Stoke player gambles and the keeper claims.

Stoke kick off from left to right and immediately give the ball away in the Thun half.

If Stoke come through this tie they face the prospect of six additional matches in the group stages before the turn of the year. Asked if he really wanted to get to the group stages, Tony Pulis said: "Have a look at the results - we are unbeaten in three games and have picked strong teams for all of them. That should answer your question."
19:30
Before last week's defeat to Stoke, FC Thun were undefeated in 12 games in all competitions, while they sit two points clear of the Swiss Super League after six games.
19:25
A very Stoke City beginning to this season so far; they've scored four goals and conceded four in their last eight games, though that includes friendlies. Though in competitive games it still reads: Played 5; scored 4; conceded 1. Don't expect a goal fest then.
19:20
So Rory Delap and his ludicrous throw ins was not even fit enough to quite make the bench. That'll be a major source of attacking options missing from the Stoke armoury tonight then.

Stoke won 1-0 in the first leg and will be strong favourites to go through here, though they are without influential winger Matthew Etherington and German hardman Robert Huth, who are both suspended.
