Shay Given, who will surely leave in January, gets a rare start in goal while Dedryck Boyata, Micah Richards and Wayne Bridge step into the defence in place of Kolo Toure, Vincent Kompany and Pablo Zabaleta. Patrick Vieira, Adam Johnson, James Milner and Shaun Wright-Phillips make the midfield while Jo and Alex Nimley up front.
