The City fans are in decent voice while those Juve supporters who bothered are subdued and generally dotted around the stadium in smaller groups.

This game is hopeless. I feel sorry for the travelling fans - from City AND Juve.

Juve don't seem especially interested, even though half their team is playing for a chance to impress the gaffer.

All a bit cagey in this early part of the game. Neither side need to win, Juve definitely only have pride to play for, although City would like to so they top the group.

Great play by Del Piero to wriggle past Boateng, poor defending though, and his blushes are spared by Boyata's challenge. Corner.

Giannetti again finds some space on the left and this time he wins a corner off Boyata. Oh, no, a goal kick, the on-loan Siena forward got the last touch.

Del Piero thinks he was fouled by Boateng but play on says the ref. City win a free-kick through Jo.

Johnson cuts in from the left, he finds Nimely, nice ball wide to Bridge overlapping, super cross and Sissoko gets a head on it but it's going in and tipped behind by Manninger!

Johnson on the left feeds Nimely but his shot is blocked. Johnson gets hold of it again, beating Grygera, and he puts it in but Manninger claims.
