GEORGIA'S HISTORIC XI
The name that jumps off the team sheet, of course, is Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the pin-up face of this history-making side and the man most capable of producing a moment of game-changing magic.
However, their 5-3-2 setup features several talented players playing in big leagues – keep an eye out particularly for Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili and Ajax striker Georges Mikautadze, who banged in 13 goals on loan at Metz in Ligue 1 this season.

TURKEY TEAM
Hakan Calhanoglu has just had a sparkling season with Inter in a new role as a deep-lying playmaker and will lead the Turkish side tonight.
Further forward, exciting young wingers Kenan Yildiz (Juventus) and Arda Guler (Real Madrid) have the potential to be breakout stars at this tournament.

WATERFALLS INSIDE THE GROUND
It has been raining so heavily in this area of the country today that some Fan Parks were closed down until tomorrow.
This was the scene not long ago, with waterfalls streaming from two corners of the stadium.
Mercifully, the rain has since slackened off a bit, the waterfalls have disappeared, and it's a more manageable light drizzle we're dealing with.

WELCOME TO SOGGY DORTMUND
It’s a historic night here at Signal Iduna Park, as Georgia are less than an hour away from stepping onto the pitch at a major tournament for the first time in their history.
The Georgians are the lowest-ranked team at Euro 2024, but they possess a dangerous side and will hope to ask questions of a Turkey team supported in vast numbers here in Germany.
The weather, however, hasn't been playing ball...
