    ROBBO'S READY
The teams have left the pitch after their warm-ups, and now an army of groundsmen are poking around with pitchforks on the pitch. I think that's the technical description.
Kick-off isn't far away now as we prepare for the pre-match ceremony and anthems.

    CLARKE SETS THE STANDARDS
"Nothing except three points for us is what we're thinking," said the Scotland coach.
"We need to get three points to at least finish third in the group and we'll see where that takes us in the competition. Everybody knows how big a game it is. You can talk and talk and talk about it.
"We probably did a little bit too much with the first one, so we're trying to underplay this one, if you ever can with a game of this magnitude. But we're trying to make sure we're well prepared and ready to go."

    ROSSI HITS OUT AT REFS
After his side's 2-0 defeat to hosts Germany, Hungary coach Rossi said his team must get the same protection as the European elite like Germany, England and Italy.
He was particularly unhappy that his side weren't awarded a free-kick in the build-up to Germany's opening goal.
"The point is a team’s ability in a tournament like this, specifically when you have VAR, a team’s prestige shouldn’t come into it. Us or Georgia need to be protected the same way Germany, England or Italy are," he said.

    SCOTS INJURY PROBLEMS MOUNT
This week influential Scotland defender Kieran Tierney was ruled out for the rest of the tournament with a hamstring injury he picked up in the Swiss draw.
The versatile defender, who is such an important part of the Scots’ build-up play down the left, joins Lyndon Dykes, Lewis Ferguson, Aaron Hickey and Nathan Patterson on a lengthy injury list, while Ryan Porteous remains suspended after his red card against Germany.
They aren’t ideal circumstances for Clarke heading into the biggest game of his tenure as boss.

    SCOTS MAKING PRESENCE FELT
We took a stroll into the centre of Stuttgart this afternoon, where the legions of Scottish fans – and pipers - were already in fine voice.
It’s been a long old day waiting for this 9pm kick-off though.

    PERMUTATIONS CORNER
Right, let’s get this one out the way nice and early.
If Scotland win, they will be all-but assured of qualification to the last 16, but will need to wait for the remaining results UNLESS they leapfrog Switzerland into second on goal difference. That would require a Swiss defeat to Germany and a six-goal swing.
If Hungary win, Scotland are out and the Magyars will have to wait to see if they rank among the best four third-place teams.
If it’s a draw, there is still a very slim chance Scotland could go through in third if a series of other results go their way. Yes, even without winning a game!

    THE STORY SO FAR
Those of a Scottish persuasion will have desperately tried to wipe the memory of the opening game out of their minds, a 5-1 thumping at the hands of the host nation.
Their response was encouraging though, as they took a 1-1 draw against Switzerland to take things to the final day.
As for Hungary, their dark horse credentials fell apart pretty quickly with a 3-1 loss to the Swiss and 2-0 defeat to Germany, leaving Szobozslai’s men needing a win at all costs here.

    ROSSI TWEAKS HIS TEAM
Hungary coach Rossi has made two changes to the side that lost to Germany last time out.
In come Ferencvaros centre-back Botka and Barnsley – yes, Barnsley – midfielder Styles. There are two more names familiar with English football in the line-up: Bournemouth’s Kerkez and Liverpool star Szoboszlai.

    ONE CHANGE FOR SCOTLAND
No surprises from Clarke, as McKenna swaps in for the injured Tierney in the only change from the 1-1 draw with Switzerland.
Adams leads the line, with McTominay and McGinn in support – Scotland will be looking to that trio for their goal threat tonight.

    IT’S BUSINESS TIME
Welcome to Stuttgart, tonight’s venue for what could be a historic night for Scottish football, or the scene of more major tournament heartache.
The tens of thousands of kilt-clad fans who have streamed into the city over the last couple of days will be praying that their time has finally come.
Scotland have never qualified for the knockout stages of a major tournament before. Victory tonight will all-but assure that they do here in Germany.
Can they pull it off? Let’s have a look at the teams…
