ROMANIA AND UKRAINE BEGIN EURO 2024 CAMPAIGNS
You are very welcome to live coverage of Romania's game versus Ukraine in Munich, Group E's first game of the tournament.
Ukraine's national team is a key symbol of sovereignty with the country at war and partially invaded by Russia, so it is sure to be an emotional occasion. This is their first appearance at a major tournament since the full-scale invasion began.
Romania are playing at a European Championship for the first time since 2016 and chasing just their second-ever win at the tournament proper.
Team news is on the way next.
