Belgium have been good for a while now, so we can no longer call them dark horses – even in jest. But this is a different side to the one which never quite found its best when it needed it, save that brilliant performance against Brazil in 2018, the leadership of Domenico Tedesco bringing them fresh impetus. And actually, given no one expects them to win this thing, maybe they're dark horses after all – but not as dark as Slovakia, their opponents today, who'll have to go some to get out of this with anything.
