England have an embarrassment of riches at Euro 2024, with world-class talent like Phil Foden, Jude Bellingham and Cole Palmer at Gareth Southgate's disposal. That did not stop them from producing a goalless draw against Slovenia - to go with difficult earlier group games - as Gary Neville says that the Three Lions may regret "mishandling" their abundance of talent in years to come.

"Getting off to winning start important" - Messi pleased after Argentina victory

Gary Neville says England may regret "mishandling" their young talent pool of players after they progressed to the last 16 of Euro 2024 with an uninspiring 0-0 draw against Slovenia.
England's brightest moment in the first half came when Bukayo Saka's goal was ruled out for offside, but otherwise there was little to cheer for the team's fans.
The Three Lions looked more impressive in the second half, with Cole Palmer and Kobbie Mainoo both coming off the bench, but it was not enough as Gareth Southgate's side settled for a point.
With England boasting such an embarrassment of riches, Neville wants to see more.
"You mentioned Trent Alexander-Arnold, you talk about [Cole] Palmer, [Jude] Bellingham, Saka, Mainoo, [Phil] Foden," Neville said on ITV.
"These are massive talents, huge talents. We really can't mishandle these talents, we really will regret it.
"I think Gareth will as well, so all I would say ahead of Sunday is these players are there staring him in the face now.
"They have come on in the second half and improved them immediately, they are our best technical players.
"They are the players who look the most comfortable on the ball and make us look like a team.
"We looked so basic on the ball in the first half, and that is being kind, that is the rigid England we have seen for 20 years."
Palmer came off the bench in the 71st minute and impressed as part of England's forward line.
Former Manchester United midfielder Roy Keane said: "You would not want to play against him [Palmer] because he is so unpredictable.
"He can beat a man, he can go left or right, and a lot of brilliant players impact the game.
"You knew when he came on that we would be talking about him.
"Every time he got it, I am hard to impress, and I am thinking that something is going to happen."
