Scotland coach Gordon Strachan quashes any rumours that his side will play for the draw today: "I can't remember any manager telling me that this is the way you play for a draw," he said. "I don't think I have tried it. Try to win and see what happens after that.

Defeat for Ireland, who are fourth and three points behind leaders Poland, would be a hammer blow to their hopes of qualification with four games remaining.
