Southampton goalkeeper Kelvin Davis was on inspired form against Charlton at The Valley and rightly takes his place in our team of the week.

Davis made a string of fine saves to deny the home side, with the pick being an acrobatic stop from Deon Burton's overhead kick.
Leading the defensive line this week is Ipswich's Alex Bruce, son of Wigan manager Steve. Bruce junior was dominant against Sheffield United and appears a player in his father's image.
Richard Stearman of Wolves was also impressive, defending with conviction against Birmingham and bringing the ball out with some style at every opportunity.
In midfield Daniel Parejo deservedly takes a shirt following a cultured showing for Crystal Palace against QPR. The Spaniard is on loan from Real Madrid and the La Liga behemoths may well want him back if Parejo continues in similar vein.
Alongside him is Jamal Campbell-Ryce of Barnsley, who stood head and shoulders above his team-mates in their 1-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest.
Marcus Tudgay of Sheffield Wednesday forced his way into the reckoning with a wonderful performance against Norwich. Tudgay made one and scored another in a fine showing.
Wednesday forward Leon Clarke joins Tudgay in the line-up, after a goal-scoring performance at Hillsborough.
Clarke's strike partner is Sheffield United's James Beattie, who held his nerve to fire home a last-minute penalty against Ipswich to earn his side a point.
