Mauricio is yet another of Zenit's January signings, brought to the capital from mid-table Terek Grozny - a side who impressed in the first half of the Russian season. This is his Zenit and European debut.

Danny looks like he can't even run anymore, so it's hardly surprising to see him replaced by Mauricio.

Hulk feeds Kokorin in the box, but the sub is slow to react and has the ball taken off his toe just as he's about to pull the trigger.

Eliseu is given space to line up a shot from distance, so he obliges as brings out a smart stop from the keeper.

Shatov is replaced by another of Zenit's January signings, Yuri Zhirkov.

Jonas sees a shot from the edge of the box deflected wide, but the corner is comfortably dealt with by Zenit.

It will be interesting to see how Kokorin does at Zenit. He's the brightest talent of Russian football right now, but hasn't really done much to live up to that billing.

Benfica will be the much more disappointed by this scoreline. Failing to score at home is always a worry, particularly with Zenit likely to have rediscovered their zip for the second leg.
