City's travelling supporters have been revelling in their team's performance tonight, and rightly so. They have been very good, even taking into account the fact that Villarreal are so afflicted by injury problems.

As things stand, Bayern will be top with 10 points, followed by City with seven, Napoli with five and Villarreal with zero. City must still visit Naples and host Bayern.

Little to report at present in fairness. This game is over as a contest and City don't seem particularly determined to find a fourth. And why should they? Their job is done.

Just to reiterate, Villarreal will be out of Europe after losing tonight as they are guaranteed to finish bottom of the group. City heading into second place.

Napoli pull another one back in Germany at Bayern only lead 3-2 now.

Here is the change. Aguero enters the pitch in place of the excellent Toure. The home fans aren't a fan of this guy, by the way.

City are now getting Aguero ready on the sidelines.

Toure has been hugely impressive tonight, but it is still hard to see past Silva as the outstanding performer for City.

Villarreal don't even look close to getting a goal here. City just need to maintain their shape and poise and they will be home with ease.

Perez goes into the book by hacking down Balotelli and City have a free-kick 35 yards from goal.
