Interesting tactical setup from Bayern. Weiser in at right-back, which certainly isn't his most common role. Martinez and Boateng continue in central-defence.

The Bayern team is on average 2.5 years younger than last week against Hoffenheim. Pizarro and Mandzukic in from the start.

Their defeat at Mainz last week (0-3) has meant they've fallen out of the immediate battle for European football. Three points today would probably change that.

Augsburg without both Andre Hahn and Tobias Werner today. Huge absentees considering they've contributed most of this season's goals. Holzhauser and Esswein come in.

This is the sixth meeting between the sides in the Bundesliga. Perhaps, a bit much to call it a Bavarian derby, after all. Bayern have won all five, scoring 12 goals.

Some new faces in the Bayern team, also. Mitchell Weiser is a young attacking-midfielder, most comfortable on the wing and he spent a spell on loan at Kaiserslautern. He's joined by 18-year-old Danish attacker Pierre-Emil Hojbjerg and 19-year-old Ylli Sallahi.

Tom Starke, who played in last weekend's 3-3 draw with Hoffenheim, has picked up an elbow injury and drops out. Leopold Zingerle is the number two this afternoon, as confirmed on Bayern's official Twitter account.
