AFC Wimbledon sign Semi Ajayi from Cardiff on loan

AFC Wimbledon have signed Cardiff defender Semi Ajayi on a one-month loan deal.

Ajayi has been brought in by Dons boss Neal Ardley following the news that Will Nightingale will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.

The 21-year-old is eligible to play in Tuesday night's match against Northampton.

Ardley told the club's official website: "We tracked Semi Ajayi when he was at Arsenal last season and the season before. We quite liked him, but he was only young then.
